"Setbacks"

I put it into quotes because it's kind of misleading... For example, I just had surgery and they would call that a "setback" in my fitness journey, but it isn't a "setback" if I don't view it as one. Your mindset will overcome a lot of things once thought of as barriers. This time off from the gym is giving me time to reflect, plan, reenergize, and filling me with fire so when I'm able to get back in there, I'll kill it. I have pulled muscle in my hip that put me out for 6 months+, (twice), dislocated my left shoulder, dislocated my right shoulder, it never stops me. After my hip injury I've ran 20+ half marathons and 2 full marathons. After my shoulder rehab, I pressed more than I had ever done before. I'll do my best to stay away from the ER, but when it happens, I'll come back better than ever.
